Known from Deed in which she gives her share of the Wexford property to nephew John-dated 1714, when she was of the City of Dublin and a spinster. The deed reads: 5929 A Memoriall of a deed bearing date and performed the third day of February one thousand seven hundred and fourteen whereby Elizabeth Richards of the City of Dublin spinster for the naturell love and affection she beareth unto her nephew John Richards of Newtowne in the County of Wexford gent and for the sum of twenty three shillings to her paid by the sd John Richards has granted bargained and sold unto the said John Richards & his heirs & exors and assignes The Whole Towne and Lands of Newtowne containing one hundred and fifty eight acres two roods and fourteen perches in the Barony of Bargy & County of Wexford together with a power of Redemption on a Mortgage which her father Solomon Richards had to a moiety of the lands of Tomb als Toomateery containing by Estimation one hundred and ninety acres Ballydamore containing by like estimation One Hundred and fifty four acres Ballymurtagh one hundred and thirty five acres Ballysimonagh one hundred and seventy acres Raheen one hundred and fifty five acres and Garryfelim ninety five acres all situate lying and being in the Barony of Scarwalsh and Ballaghkeen and County of Wexford and also the Towne and Lands of Sigginshaggard containing one hundred and fourty two acres [ ] And Ballytartan containing four hundred and thirty acres Ballyneglough Eighty Five Acres and Ballyvolloge one hundred and fourteen acres situate in the Barony of Souleer and said County of Wexford to have and to hold the said moiety of the said mortgaged lands unto the said John Richards his heirs Exors Adms & assignes for ever and all the eight ???? and interest of in and to the said lands of Newtowne and every part thereof It is hereby agreed between the said partys that when the said John Richards [] on redemption of the said mortgage or otherwise come to the possession of said mortgaged lands that then she the said Elizabeth should from thenceforth receive out of the said moiety a rent charge of thirty pounds per annum for four years and the sum of twenty five pounds sterlg yearly during her life which said deed is witnessed by John Ronan of the City of Dublin gent and Edward Jacob of the county of Wexford aforesaid gent signed and sealed in the presence of us John Richards John Ronan Hen Buckley The above named John Ronan maketh oath that he saw the above named Elizabeth Richards duly seal and execute the above mentioned deed (of which the above writing is a memorial) and that he also saw the above named John Richards duly sign and seal the said memorial and that he this Dept is a subscribing witness to the same and delivered the same to Mr Bruen Worthington dep Reg on the seventh day of Feby 1714 at 12 o'clock noon.
